Gimmie a break.
We are all guilty of it: you login to your computer and get to work and then the next thing you know the day is gone and you haven't stopped once. It's so easy to get lost in the day and overwhelmed by the metric ton of crap in your inbox that you forget (or more likely, AVOID) taking a break! Try a new habit: set a timer to go off at intervals that work for you and take five (or more) to reset. Here are some creative ways we like to blow off steam:
Buy. The. Damn. Hot. Tub.
Self-care matters. As business owners we are being pulled in a million directions, this year even more so. We can also be guilty of prioritizing everything above ourselves in pursuit of "success". Or maybe our finances are a little messy and we feel like we have to forgo things until we get it all together and perfectly lined out. I am definitely a proponent of making sound financial choices, but I also feel so, SO strongly that sometimes we need to make our own mental health, emotional well being and physical comfort a priority too.
